About the event
A family friendly calm & meditative evening, with a story teller, cake sale and seasonal songs
In Steiner - Waldorf schools we celebrate Martinmas Day. Better known since 1918 as Armistice Day, November 11th is also the Feast of St Martin or Martinmas. The story of St. Martin, who cut his cloak in half to share with a cold, homeless person is told by a storyteller during the evening event. Our lantern walk signifies how, through our collective action we can light up the darkness in the world for each other and our communities.
We will be making lanterns together at the Samhain Family Friendly Festival on the 27th October, please book on our Family Friendly Festival event page if you would like to join us.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
